In Quezon province, there's a wild plant with heart-shaped leaves called Kamamba. Kamamba is gathered by locals around Mt. Banahaw, an active complex volcano located at the boundary of Laguna and Quezon. Kamamba leaves are used as a food wrapper, flavoring (minty-licorice taste), and aromatic. It is used for Quezon's traditional pinais, ginataang manok, and ginataang bahay kulig.
